mentoring

Our project management experts are not professional teachers, they are experienced practitioners who have a proven ability to transfer their knowledge during one on one mentoring engagements. Our practitioners are experienced in conducting effective, time efficient mentoring engagements which focus on knowledge transfer in your workplace environment.

The key benefit of our mentoring program, where one of our skilled practitioners works directly with your staff member on their project documentation in their workplace, is the focused attention your staff will receive with no external distractions to inhibit their learning ability. As the mentoring engagement is carried out in the workplace, the skills, tools and techniques to efficiently manage projects will be expedited and the knowledge transfer will be aligned to your corporate documentation.

Our mentoring programs are conducted on an as needs basis.

The mentoring program will be driven by a skilled practitioner. The suggested participants should meet certain prerequisites in order for them to gain the maximum benefit from the program.

Depending on the subject matter and the required level of detail of the mentoring program, as well as the corporate level of the audience, the durations can vary and will be discussed once we have assessed the requirement.

The key to the success of any education is the actual knowledge transfer during the program and the ability of the delegate to implement this into their workplace. Our skilled practitioners focus on ensuring the principles of the subjects are understood and place little emphasis on short term memory retention. The ability of the delegate to comprehend the principles of the subject is dependant upon their prerequisite knowledge before hand. A suitable venue to conduct our program, including the necessary access to your corporate documentation is required.

At the conclusion of the mentoring program, a written report will be provided. The report will include the overall impressions of the engagement and the assessment of the individuals new capabilities. Our practitioner will provide you with any observations they may have made during the course, such as any potential process improvements and any possible skills gaps. The report will conclude with the identification of a path for improvement and any lessons learned from the program.
